In 2025, Aberdeen became the first in Scotland to achieve the Sustainable Food Places Gold Award!

Why is Sustainability Important?

Globally, food systems account for 21-37% of total Green House Gas emissions and are at the heart of many of the world's challenges - such as malnutrition and biodiversity loss (IPCC, 2019)
